The new kid on the WSBK block - meet Michael Ruben Rinaldi! Two Italian powerhouses are coming together as Rinaldi joins forces with the Aruba Ducati WorldSBK team in 2021, which will be his third full-time season on the WSBK circuit.
He's no stranger to the Ducati Panigale V4 R that he'll be riding once again this year - but the set up looks a little different. In his first year in the iconic red leathers, Rinaldi will be riding with (and against) legendary teammate Scott Redding to compete for the 2021 crown.
After joining the WSBK paddock in 2014 through the Superstock 600 class, his racing prowess and maturity has come on leaps and bounds. Making his way though to Superstock 1000 and securing the title in 2017, he moved up to the WorldSBK in the Aruba. It Racing junior team in 2019 and finally made the switch to team GoEleven in 2020, where he made a name for himself on the world stage.
It's a new team, but certainly not a new rider. Let's see what this Italian rookie can do when backed by a team from his home lands!
