POOLE - 02 APRIL 2026 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Muc-Off has announced its official partnership with Klassmark for The Traka 2026, one of Europe’s leading gravel cycling events. As the Official Bike Maintenance Partner, Muc-Off will be on the ground supporting riders throughout the event, while also introducing its latest drivetrain innovation - Dark Energy Chain Wax.
Set in the gravel riding hotspot of Girona, The Traka draws thousands of riders from across the globe to take on its iconic and demanding routes. Through this partnership, Muc-Off will provide on-site bike maintenance support across race week, helping riders keep their bikes running smoothly from start line to finish.
Engineered to hit the sweet spot of efficiency, durability and low wear, Dark Energy delivers a clean and quiet drivetrain. Developed over four years at the Muc-Off R&D Lab, it blends highly refined waxes - including a plant-derived biodegradable wax - to form a durable dry-film barrier that repels dirt and reduces friction. From racing to everyday rides, it’s riders’ invisible performance advantage.
In the lead-up to the event, Muc-Off will also host a series of activations in partnership with Velodrom at its Performance Lab workshop in Girona. Further details will be shared via Muc-Off’s social channels.
Muc-Off supported athletes, including EF Pro Cycling’s Lachlan Morton and Axelle Dubau-Prévot, will be competing at The Traka 2026, with on-the-ground support from the Muc-Off team throughout race week.
