HOW DO I DISPOSE OF DRIVETRAIN CLEANER?
We do not advise disposing of any chemical/cleaner down the drains or on plants / grass etc. The ruminants of degreaser should be poured into disposable towel/cloth and placed in waste bin. Where we say it's fully biodegradable, we mean that the ingredients are biodegradable (break down over time) vs a chain cleaner isn't biodegradable that doesn't break down over time. Both cleaners (by which I mean ours and another brand that isn't biodegradable) contain chemicals, but biodegradable cleaners contain a larger percentage of organic products which break down quicker.
Our Drivetrain cleaner is fully biodegradable to OCED guidelines which means it has to fully break down and degrade under natural conditions, normally in soil in less than 60 days. It doesn't mean it can be poured down the drain. same with any chemical. The environmental advantage to this if if you put any excess in the bin and it goes to landfill, it will degrade in under 60 days vs a cleaner which could take years or decades to fully break down.
