One badass group of women that are tearing up the pro scene.
EF Education-TIBCO-SVB, the longest-running women’s team in North America, has moved to the big leagues of pro cycling, with a newly minted Women’s WorldTour designation. It all started 18 years ago as Team TIBCO in a bike shop in California. Their mission is to provide opportunities for women to compete in a competitive cycling environment. Major enhancements include an increase in salaries for full-time riders, to match the men’s WorldTour minimum.
For 2023, the team have a couple of exciting new riders including Zoe Bäckstedt and Alison Jackson as well as longstanding team riders will be Lauren Stephens, Lizzie Banks, Emma Langley and Clara Honsinger. We’re stoked to be able to continue to support the team, we can’t wait to see how they get on across the WorldTour and their alternative calendar!
