Want that deep, head-turning Harley-Davidson shine?

Follow these simple steps to get the best results.

1. Wash First

Always clean and protect your bike thoroughly before polishing. Dirt and grime can cause scratches if trapped between the polish and paintwork.

2. Dry Completely

Never apply polish to a wet bike. Make sure all surfaces are clean and completely dry before you begin.

3. Stay Out of Direct Sunlight

Apply polish in a shaded area and on cool surfaces. Direct sunlight can cause the product to dry too quickly, leaving streaks and making buffing more difficult.

4. Apply Sparingly

Using a clean microfibre cloth, apply a small amount of polish to painted and chrome surfaces. Work one section at a time before buffing to a high-gloss finish with a separate clean cloth.

Do's

Wash and dry your Harley before polishing

Use clean microfibre cloths

Work in the shade

Polish painted and chrome surfaces only

Buff with a fresh cloth for maximum shine

Don'ts

Don't polish in direct sunlight

Don't apply any product to a hot bike, wait for it to cool after its last ride

Don't apply polish to a dirty or wet bike

Don't use excessive product

Don't apply polish to grips, footpegs, seats, tyres, brake components, or controls, as this can create slippery surfaces and affect rider safety

A little preparation goes a long way. Follow these tips and your Harley-Davidson will stay looking showroom-fresh ride after ride.
